You can’t help but imagine the Jamaican accent, the Caribbean steel drums and smell the native jerk chicken when you think of traveling to Jamaica. “Come to the islands, mon, you’re sure to have a great time!”So true, it is almost impossible to travel to Jamaica without having a good time.
If you spend the majority of your time locked into the 9-5 grind, a trip to Jamaica is in order. Lose your worries and leave your stresses at home, because there is just not time for any of than once you hit the island lifestyle!
Whether you are traveling alone, with your family, or even on a romantic getaway, Jamaica is the primo vacation destination for anyone needing to get away. Below I have listed some of my favorite Jamaican destinations that are sure to leave you happy and stress free.
As you may have guessed, Dolphin Cove offers the chance to swim with the dolphins. This isn’t all you can do when you in Dolphin Cove, however. While dolphin encounters rank pretty high on many of your bucket lists, swimming with sharks is also offered in this paradise location. Before you shudder too much, bear in mind that you will have professionals with you the entire time, so no worries of becoming shark bait.
This is a great place to take the family where you can enjoy many different activities such as:
- Glass bottom kayaking
- Take a boat trip to explore the coast
- Swim with sharks, or keep your distance and simply enjoy the shark show
- Interact with the local pirates
- Take in the other amazing wild life there is at Dolphin Cove
Whatever your preference for how you would like to spend your time, you will definitely walk away from this vacation experience with a big fat smile on your face!
The Bob Marley Museum
Yep, that’s right, there is an entire museum dedicated to the master of reggae! This is one museum that will definitely give you a whole new sense of appreciation of Bob Marley.Get a sense of nostalgia when you visit the place that was once Marley’s original studio. Sort of like Graceland for reggae.
In typical island fashion, there is no rush to get to the museum early. In fact, they don’t open before 9:30, leaving plenty of time for a yummy Caribbean breakfast, morning walk along the shore, or sleeping in. Come see for yourself and enjoy the laid back lifestyle in Jamaica. With cheap flights to Jamaica you can save your funds for island fun and adventure! Do you have your tickets yet?
